Hi everyone!!! This year the season will start late and in slow motion due to the restrictions of Covid-19. We all spent a lot of time at home without being able to practice sports. The benefits of sport are numerous, among these I list a few:
- 47/5000 helps strengthen the immune system;
- helps socialization;
- reduces the symptoms of anxiety, stress and depression.
We remind everyone that water sports such as windsurfing, SUP, sailing and Kayak have been classified by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee) as zero risk sports!
As for the current situation in relation to Covid-19, we remember that they are mostly individual sports in which social distancing is guaranteed by the equipment (boards, paddles, sails with boom and mast), to this must be added that we have the luck to carry out these activities at the sea!
In fact, sea water considerably dilutes the concentration of the virus making its infectious capacity equal to zero; furthermore, due to salinity and currents, it does not represent a transmission vehicle. The sun with ultraviolet rays and temperature are additional physical factors with scientifically recognized antimicrobial power.
To this it must be added that we are organizing to sanitize the equipment as required in any case.
The only recommendation is to wear a T-shirt / Lycra to carry out all the activities, and not to have contact with the life jacket which is still mandatory.
